Bounty bites

Closed eyes.
Hearing the sound of the sea.
Feeling the warming sun.
Feeling a light breeze on my skin.
Tasting sweet coconut like fresh from a palm tree.
Dark chocolate – a bitter-sweet pleasure – melts on my tongue.

That’s what those bounty bites are for me. Pure pleasure. Like holiday.

I love them for every occasion. Love to close my eyes before letting my taste buddies experience this taste explosion.
I always put them out of the fridge some minutes before enjoying them. They are best slightly cold but not too much because if they are half frozen they don’t taste as intense. And I always let those melt on my tongue – one after the other.

That’s seriously like a quick escape from life, anxieties, work, studying – reality.

Ingredients

Coconut filling/Kokosfüllung

  • 50 g coconut yoghurt/Kokosjoghurt
  • 20 g shredded coconut/Kokosraspeln
  • 10 g coconut flour/Kokosmehl
  • optional: Sweetener/Süße

Chocolate layer/Schokoschicht

  • 30 g coconut oil/Kokosöl
  • 15 g raw cacao/Rohkakao
  • vanilla/Vanille
  • optional: Sweetener/Süße

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients for the chocolate layer and fill chocolate sauce in little chocolate moulds. Put in the freezer for 30 minutes until the chocolate layer is solid./Die Zutaten für die Schokoschicht vermengen und in Pralinenförmchen (ich habe eine Silikonherzform) geben und für etwa 30 Minuten im Gefrierschrank fest werden lassen.

  2. Mix the ingredients for the filling in a bowl and put it on top of the chocolate layer. Put in the fridge for about 30 minutes and store in the fridge afterwards./Die Zutaten für die Kokosfüllung vermengen und auf die Schokoschicht geben. Für 30 minutes in den Gefrierschrank geben und dann im Kühlschrank aufbewahren.

Recipe Notes

For lower fat option you can also use 20g coconut flour and 10g shredded coconut./Um weniger Fett Makros zu haben, kann man auch 20g Kokosmehl und 10g Kokosraspeln verwenden.
