Although, I’m really into savory breakfast right now, I sometimes want something sweet. This smoothie bowl is perfect after a workout because it contains some quick carbs, electrolytes, protein and good fat. The matcha gives you great kick and gets you going.
Don’t worry about the zucchini, you won’t taste it at all!
I guess what makes the difference is the match I’m using right now. It is not a normal plain matcha powder. It also contains lemongrass, lemon myrtle, barley gras and wheat grass. I’m a big fan of the fresh, lemony taste this powder has.

Recipes German and English?
As I know that I have quite a lot German followers, I decided to post recipes in English and German to make it easier for you to recreate them. I don’t want you to have to use a translator just to cook or bake something. For me, food should be easy and quick to prepare and looking up words doesn’t apply to that. Another thing I added is nutritional information: calories and macros.
Please let me know if that is something I should keep doing from now on in the comments below.

Paleo vegan matcha smoothie bowl
- 200 ml almond milk/Mandelmilch
- 50 ml coconut water/Kokoswasser
- 1 frozen banana/(gefrorene) Banane (100g)
- 50 g zucchini/Zuchini
- 10 g pea protein/Erbsenprotein
- 5-10 g psyllium husk powder/Flohsamenschalenpulver the thicker you want it, the more you use
- 5 g lemon matcha/Matcha use normal Matcha and add some lemongrass powder/normaler Matcha und Zitronengras
- 10 g almond butter/Mandelmus
- ground vanilla/gemahlene Vanille
- optional: sweetener/Süße
Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix until smooth./Alle Zutaten in einen Mixer geben und verblenden.
Let thicken in the fridge for about an hour to get a jelly./Für ungefähr eine Stunde in den Kühlschrank geben, um Puddingkonsistenz zu erhalten.
