Are you ready for a delicious banana and coconut paleo waffle?
I almost forgot about this recipe but when I was going through the photos I still had on my memory card and not lost due to my computer dying, I detected that I forgot to actually write down the recipe for this waffle and post it. I know I promised to share my other favorite go-to waffle (apart from my beloved chocolate almond waffles) recipe with you a while ago, so I’m sorry for this late post BUT better later than never. And this recipe is really worth trying!
The natural sweetness of coconut and banana flour is perfect to satisfy your sweet cravings and topping the waffls with some fruit and chocolate pieces makes you feel like eating the best dessert on earth when enjoying those.
The recipe is for a single serving which is perfect for everyone who is single or just quickly wants a waffle without making a batch.
Neverthelss, you can share your waffle or use a bigger egg and more liquid and double the amount of the other ingredients to make two waffles.
Banana coconut waffle
- 20 g coconut flour/Kokosmehl
- 10 g shredded coconut/Kokosraspeln
- 10 g plantain flour/Bananenmehl
- 10 g almond flour/Mandelmehl
- 1 teaspoon/TL baking powder/Backpulver
- 80 ml liquid/Flüssigkeit
- sweetener of choice/Süße nach Wahl
Preheat your waffle maker./Das Waffeleisen vorheizen.
Mix all ingredients./Alle Zutaten verrühren.
If needed, grease your waffle maker and bake your waffle until slightly golden./Wenn nötig, das Waffeleisen einfetten und dann die Waffel goldig backen.
Top with whatever you desire and enjoy!/Die Waffeln mit Toppings nach Lust und Laune servieren und genießen!
